About Us
The Institute for Research, Development, and Innovation (IRDI) was founded in 2012 as part of IMU's ASPIRE plan. Its mission is to become a top private research institute in Asia, blending education, healthcare, and research.
The primary goal of IRDI is to support research at IMU by exploring funding opportunities, collaborating with industry for contract research, providing services like statistics and editing, and coordinating funding applications. It also handles the commercialisation of research products and promotes IMU's research through corporate communication.
IRDI has two main arms: Research, focusing on specific areas, and Support Services and Commercialisation, which includes labs and efforts to commercialise research.
